Family home: Amisk Lake & Victoria BC
Large-scale artworks on canvas commissioned for a family’s lakeside getaway on Amisk Lake in the Prairies (top left,) and for their Westcoast townhome. The 20+ foot Amisk Lake painting incorporates symbolism that honours the family’s 4 children, their love of the pelicans that abound at the Lake, & the fact that “Amisk” is Cree for beaver.
The Townhome painting (10+ feet wide) welcomes this couple into their new life on the coast, on traditional Lekwungen lands, and honours her Latvian ancestral roots, and passion for medicinal plant teachings, as well as his Métis roots.
For a mother & her daughters
Commission artwork to honour an important transition for a mother and her daughters - a moving on, a transformation. Acrylic paint and pen & ink on fine art paper.

ACE Hotel, New York NY & Portland OR
It all begins with an idea.
Original large scale paintings on canvas, commissioned for the opening of the ACE Hotel in New York, NY. You can also visit my work at their Portland, OR location. I created 3 canvas pieces for the NY hotel, each fully filling the length of a wall, and I drew directly on the wall of one of the Portland spaces, with a Stumptown latte in hand. Of course.
